Located in Quincy IN, we are a non-profit rescue that tries to help as many dogs as we can from high kill shelters. We rescue them, get them healthy and find them wonderful, loving forever homes.

We DO NOT adopt dogs out to people who want to have a dog then leave them outside by him/herself. All our dogs must live and sleep indoor only and be supervised when outside. It is not fair to the dog to be left outside alone all the time, nor is it safe. We want every pet to be a part of the family and live as you do inside your home. We also do require a fence if you live in the city limits. If you live in the country on acres then I understand its hard to fence in a lot of land.

We are the "Voice for the Animals" and do everything we can to make sure every dog is the right fit for the family adopting them. Even if you get approved to adopt from us it doesn't mean the dog you are wanting will be a good fit for your life style and that is our first priority, to match adopters with right pet for them. We rescue GSD's, Husky's and other breeds as well.

We only show dogs to approved adopters, by appointment ONLY, that way your time and ours is not wasted. We want adopters that will never give up on their animals no matter what issues arise, homes that will seek out help and won't just dump them back here with us at the rescue because they don't want to make the effort to work on the problem to keep their pet.

We no longer take owner surrenders, there are too many healthy dogs in the shelters that are being killed without us or another rescue stepping in to help, so we ONLY rescue from shelters.
